Specific usage

RAGT Semences

These specific usage rules adapt the Groupe RAGT guidelines for the Semences business unit: logo, Sower icon, colours by species, typefaces and identity elements specific to the commercial brand.

They apply to all marketing and sales materials: catalogues, technical sheets, presentations, packaging, videos and merchandise.

Typography

The RAGT Semences identity rests on the predominant use of Bebas Neue across all brand communications. It is reserved for headings and for highlighting short words or phrases. Bebas Neue must never be used in bold, which would harm its legibility.

Amaranth may be used sparingly in headings or to emphasise certain words. To guarantee sufficient contrast with the other typefaces, it must always be used in italics. Amaranth must not be used in bold, nor for digital purposes.

Aptos is the typeface dedicated to body text and everyday content. It also acts as a fallback when Bebas Neue or Amaranth are not technically available (typefaces not installed on a workstation or in certain applications).

For digital materials, the Oswald / Google Sans Flex pairing takes over: Oswald for headings, Google Sans Flex for body text and interfaces.

Sow, harvest, pass on

Since 1919, RAGT has been selecting seed varieties suited to their territories and guiding farmers towards sustainable agriculture. The Oswald / Google Sans Flex pairing gives digital materials a clear hierarchy: assertive headings, legible body text.

Identity elements

The “Growth Frame”

A frame in the brand colours, used to highlight elements within photos and layouts, or important text. Variants: partial frame, wide (with or without a divider), narrow (variety names, video speakers).

The Growth Frame comes into its own in print and presentations; in digital, where formats are fluid, the other brand markers are preferred.

Growth Frame — déclinaisons pleines et contours
Frames — the frame as a solid or an outline, on a yellow, white or blue background.
Growth Frame — déclinaisons avec crochets d'angle
Brackets — the frame with corner brackets, on opposite diagonals.

The “Growth Frame” — variations

Growth Frame — variations : partiel, large avec et sans séparation, étroit

Photography

Realistic imagery, in close-up, from above or from below. People facing the camera (at an angle) or seen from behind. A dominance of natural, fresh and saturated colours, backlighting and warm light; favour a blue sky and employees in blue shirts to match the guidelines.

Variety visual system

The RAGT icon is the creative base. Define a characteristic of the variety to illustrate (for example, high potential = rocket), then place the crop photo or the pictogram at the centre of the frame. The frame always keeps the same size so a range stays consistent. Three to six brand colours may be used.

Variety name

On a technical sheet or a website, place the RGT logo before the variety name. For an editable PPT sent to distributors, use Aptos so the layout is preserved.
